This year's Jubilee Plunge was run in cold but sunny and clear weather conditions which helped attract a large turn-out for this seasonal 2
mile frantic descent from Moel Famau to the Golden Lion, Llangynhafal.
With no prescribed route for this race the field of 81 runners, including several Santas, selected a variety
of different routes down causing the casual observer to suspect nobody actually knew the way. This was not the case.
With the exception of a few runners who were gently herded to the finish by a very welcome sweeper, the runners all made it down in double quick time.
First home was Michael Corrales (North Wales Road Runners) in 11m11s closely followed by Jex Brown (Buckley) in 11m23s and Martin Cliffe (Eryri) 11m 38s.
Louise Beetlestone (Eryri) was first lady in 13m40s, pursued by Lisa Grantham (Pensby) in 14m19s and Ophelia Harborne in 15m05s
Many thanks to the marshals who made the race possible and to the supporters for their much appreciated cheering
